Shenzhen Industrial Design Profession Association (SIDA) was officially established. 

The first China (Shenzhen) International Industrial Design Festival was held.

2009

Shenzhen Industrial Design Profession Association (SIDA) was officially established. The first China (Shenzhen) International Industrial Design Festival was held.

2010

UNESCO Creative Cities Network Conference. 2010 Shenzhen International Conference was successfully held.

2011

Led Shenzhen design delegation make its debut in 100% Design London for the first time.

2012

Shenzhen Municipal People's Government issued the policy: Measures to Accelerate the Development of Industrial Design Industry.

2013

Official opening of Permanent Exhibition of iF Design Award in Shenzhen. 

Shenzhen Institute for Innovative Design was established. 

The 1st Shenzhen International Industrial Design Fair was successfully held.

2014

The first Shenzhen-Hong Kong Biennale of Design was held. 

Partnered with Helsinki, Finland to build the Sino-Finnish Design Park.

"Shenzhen Pavilion" was upgraded to "China Pavilion" and shined on 100% Design London, UK for the very first time. 

2015

Shenzhen-San Francisco Innovation Exchange Summit was successfully held and SIDA signed a contract with the Institute for the Future "Discovering Stars of Innovation and Entrepreneurship" in Shenzhen, Guangdong.

2016

The 12th International Fab Lab Conference and Symposium (Fab12) was held in Shenzhen, China for the first time. 

Former Premier Li Keqiang and relevant leaders visited the maker space area during National Mass Innovation and Entrepreneurship Week. Premier Li spoke highly of the event as "Beyond expectation and out of imagination".

2017

The first National Intellectual Property Protection Workstation in the Industrial Design Industry was built.

The Shenzhen Industrial Design Exchange Event of the China-Africa Advanced Seminar on Intellectual Property Systems and Policies was held.

2018

Qinhuangdao Sino-Swedish Design Park was officially opened.

Guangdong province’s governor (Former Secretary of Shenzhen Municipal Committee) Wang Weizhong visited SIDA.

Secretary of Heilongjiang Provincial Party Committee (Former Deputy Secretary of Hebei Provincial Party Committee and Governor of the provincial government) Xu Qin visited Hebei Industrial Design Innovation Center.

Hebei Industrial Design Innovation Center was officially established.

The first Hebei International Industrial Design Week was launched.

2019

The first Goldreed Industrial Design Award officially launched.

UNLEASH 2019 (a Global Youth Innovation Lab for the Sustainable Development Goals) was successfully held.

Dingzhou Industrial Design Innovation Center was opened.

Jiangxi Red Product Innovation Center was opened.

2020

SIDA coordinated the logo design, atmosphere, material design and production for the 40th anniversary celebration of the establishment of Shenzhen Special Economic Zone.

Qingdao Industrial Design Innovation Center was officially opened.

2021

The first National Industrial Design Vocational Skills Competition was successfully held in Shenzhen.

2022

Expo Dubai 2020 China Pavilion "Shenzhen Day" Shenzhen Technology Innovation Interactive Exhibition was successfully co-organized.
