Professor, doctoral supervisor. Born in March 1958, he graduated from Hunan University in December 1984 with a master's degree in architecture. He is currently the dean and professor of the School of Design and Art of Hunan University, the director of the Steering Sub-Committee for Teaching of Industrial Design Profession in Higher Education Schools of the Ministry of Education, the vice chairman of China Industrial Design Association, the chairman of Hunan Design Artists Association, the chairman of the teaching committee of industrial design discipline of China Mechanical Industry Education Association. He majors in industrial design, history of design and design management, and lectures on the course “History of Industrial Design”.
